Marking the first produced project for Jewelbox Pictures, Apatow’s recently launched production company with longtime collaborator and friend Olivia Rosenbloom, on which we were first to report, Poetic License follows Liz, a former therapist and soon-to-be empty nester, as she becomes the unexpected point of tension between two inseparable best friends and college seniors, Sam and Ari. Liz is forced to reexamine her life as the boys’ friendship unravels in a fierce competition for her affection.
Levantine Films is producing with Jewelbox.
Bongiovi was most recently seen opposite Kiernan Shipka in the Max pic Sweethearts, which premiered last month on the streamer.
He is repped by WME.
